Xiaomi becomes the fast selling smartphone brand during Lazada’s ongoing 6.6 Bounce Back Sale online shopping campaign, which runs from June 4 to 6.
Based on the purchase data from Lazada’s Xiaomi Flagship Store, Redmi 8A (2GB + 32GB) got the title as the best selling smartphone, with the stocks vacated within four minutes after the campaign started. Alongside, Redmi Note 9S (4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB) and Redmi 7A (2GB + 32GB) were sold out within the first minute, Redmi Note 9 Pro (6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB) within 24 minutes, and Redmi Note 9 (3GB + 64GB) in the first hour. In total, several tens of thousands of devices were sold.
“We are so touched by the passion over our products by the Philippine Mi Fans and users. During the past two years or so since we entered the Philippine market, we have seen many milestones like this one,” said Mark Li, Country Head of The Philippines, Xiaomi.
“We have felt the ever increasing demand for our products during this campaign, and we will replenish the stock as fast as we can to ensure everyone can enjoy the best possible innovative technologies that our devices bring at the most accessible pricing points.”
As of 16:00, June 4, local time in Manila, new models including Mi Note 10 Lite (6GB + 64GB) priced at ₱16,990, as well as Mi Note 9 (4GB + 128GB) priced at ₱9,990 were still available.
