Amidst a growingly competitive global market, health supplement manufacturer USANA Health Sciences consistently sees a strong upward trend in terms of business growth, posting a 23.9 percent year-on-year net sales increase for the second quarter of 2015.
“Our consistent growth is a testament to our high quality products, the financially rewarding experience and loyalty from our associates, and ultimately the credibility and reliability of our business model” says USANA Philippines general manager Aurora “Duday” Gaston. “
This percentage growth translates to USD233.2 million worth of net sales globally, with Philippines being one of the top five contributors to USANA’s global business. The increase in net sales was driven by 40.3 percent growth in the number of active associates and 15.2 percent growth in the number of preferred customers.
Aside from this, USANA Health Sciences was also named to the Utah Business Fast 50 list for the eighth time. The recognition was cited at the Utah Business award ceremony based on its most recent five years of compound revenue growth. Notably, USANA’s fiscal year 2014 marked the company’s 12th consecutive year of record net sales.
“In the end, we need to be discerning, keep an open mind and understand the dynamics behind the business model, which has been injected with a negative stigma – especially in the Philippines,” explains Gaston. “It is necessary to the nature and accomplishments of the company behind the business model before we blindly scrutinize and antagonize it. Accomplishments like these should prove that there is indeed a lucrative future and opportunity in our business model.”
