MANILA, Philippines– United Airlines announced recently that it has expanded its Manila-Guam service from five times weekly to daily. This expanded service conveniently connects to United’s daily Guam-Honolulu flights at Guam International Airport for both ways, allowing passengers from the Philippines to travel to many cities in the U.S. such as Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco via Guam and Honolulu.
It also conveniently connects to United’s daily Guam-Saipan service.
The additional flights will meet growing passenger demand as more Filipinos travel to return to the Philippines and visit friends and relatives abroad. This also expands options for travelers to visit destinations such as Guam that are open for a vaccine tourism program which allows international visitors to receive a COVID-19 vaccine while enjoying a stay.
“United is always ready to add capacity whenever we see increased demand. The Philippines is one of our key markets in Asia and we’re excited to better serve our customers with this expanded flight schedule to/from Manila. It highlights our continued commitment to the market, especially as we gear up to celebrate our 40th anniversary of service to the Philippines in 2022,” said Wally Dias, managing director of sales for Greater China, Korea, and Southeast Asia at United.
The flight offers three types of onboard services: United Business Class, Economy Plus which offers extra legroom, and United Economy.
With the addition of Monday and Thursday schedules, flights will continue to depart and arrive at Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
