The API Developer Portal of UnionBank was recently recognized as the runner-up of Modern Technologies led Innovation category at the Infosys Finacle Client Innovation Awards 2020 program.

This includes Netflix-like predictive recommendations which suggest relevant APIs to clients based on their industry and existing API usage.
Furthermore, the comprehensive documentation ala Facebook for developers means that information on the APIs are relevant for both business leaders seeking to understand the API’s business value, and for technical readers that are looking to get started with development straightaway.
UnionBank is the first and only bank in the Philippines to be included in the ASEAN Financial Innovation Network or AFIN – an initiative spearheaded by the International Finance Corporation and the Monetary Board of Singapore to establish an ASEAN-wide API sandbox for banks and fintechs.
All APIs on the Developer Portal can be published on AFIN as well.
