When your iPhone or iPad needs extra storage, consider the Transcend JetDrive Go 300S. It has a dual Lightning and USB connectors, lets you free up space on your iOS device, and even play back or access files on the JetDrive Go 300S itself. It’s about the same size as many USB flash drives, except that this one lets you copy files from your computer to iOS device and vice versa. Here’s our review.
The Good
Has an intuitive file manager in the JetDrive Go app. You’ll be prompted to download it when you connect the JetDrive Go 300S into your iOS device. Download it and you’ll be copying files to and from your iOS device to the JetDrive Go 300S in no time.
Allows for file/photo/video browsing and media playback, so you can check out your files in the flash drive without adding bulk to your iOS device’s internal storage.
Sturdy metallic body, neither looks nor feels in your hand like it won’t survive a fall.
Extended connector tip makes allowances for iOS devices with protective cases that add a layer to the bottom part where the port is.

Because it’s chubby, you won’t forget to put it away after use when it’s plugged into an iOS device or on someone’s laptop.
The JetDrive Go app has its own cameras that saved directly into the flash drive itself.
The Maybe Bad
Those see-through plastic caps, you might lose them.
The glittery silver design on the body calls attention to itself.
It’s a bit chubby and is very noticeable when it’s plugged into an iOD device or on a laptop. Check out the JetDrive Go 500S for a thinner option.
The Verdict
The Transcend JetDrive Go 300S is a good option for freeing up space on your iOS device, and for bringing along videos, music, and files you don’t want clogging your iOS device’s storage. The JetDrive Go app is intuitive and the only downsides are that you might lose the caps and it’s a bit chubby.
The JetDrive Go 300S has a price tag of P2,851.
