The 2017 Samsung Galaxy A5 (5.2-inch display, P19,990) and A7 (5.7-inch, P23,990) have 16MP rear and front cameras (for low-light shots and crisp selfies, respectively), are dust and water resistant (30 mins under 1.5m of water), feature Type C ports (for easy data transfer and charging), and have gorgeous full HD AMOLED displays (for great outdoor visibility and punchy colors). Both midrange phones were launched this January. At the launch, only the Galaxy A7 was available for product shots.
Save for the difference in screen and battery size, both the Galaxy A5 and A7 look exactly the same. See table below for specs differences, which are highlighted in orange.
