With the HONOR X9a 5G, HONOR wants to bring premium closer to a certain price point. The X9a 5G features a premium OLED Curved Screen, a large and long lasting battery, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, all in a slim body that’s tough enough to drop over and over and survive, even without a protective case.

“It’s something that HONOR fans should definitely look forward to, as it will really change the definition of premium,” said HONOR Philippines VP for Marketing Stephen Cheng.
A phone with a great display, big battery, and 5G has been offered before at higher price points, but not one with a killer feature – incredible durability. And probably not at the price point that HONOR seems to be teasing about.
A quick look at key features
The HONOR X9a 5G allows 2 days of use with only 30 minutes of charging (probably the thinnest and lightest phone to do that). That’s about 12 hours of video streaming and is a very long time away from the charging port or a powerbank. The phone is also equipped with a 64MP Super Triple Camera set up on a circular design on the back. The curved-at-the-sides screen can display 10-bit or 1.07 billion colors (think realistic photos and highly detailed videos).
