You can now buy Xiaomi products at Shopee. A partnership between the e-commerce platform Shopee and popular Chinese device maker Xiaomi now lets the 11 million Shopee users access to Xiaomi products – from smartphones and power banks to travel bags and rice cookers – via the Shopee mobile app. Remember that Xiaomi fans continued to buy Xiaomi products via parallel import, even when Xiaomi’s official presence in the country vanished in 2016. This may be a boost to Shopee’s growing number of users.

Redmi 5 Flash Sale on Shopee
To celebrate the launch of Xiaomi’s official store on Shopee, a flash sale of the Redmi 5 16GB (exclusively sold online on Shopee) will be held on 12 of April 4, with a special price of P5,990, with 10% Shopee coins cashback. Users who pre-register their interest from 23 to 31 March will get a 250 PHP Xiaomi voucher (limited quantity, while stocks last), which can be used to offset the purchase of all products on the Xiaomi Official Store.

The budget-friendly Redmi 5 runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 450 plus 2GB RAM combo, has a 5.7-inch Full Screen display (1140×720, 18:9 aspect ratio), features Dual Micro-SIM slots, and comes with a large 3300 mAh battery. Its 12MP F2.2 rear camera has a 1.25-micron pixel size and phase detection autofocus, while the 5MP F2.0 selfie camera comes with an LED Selfie light for low light portraits.
Recently, Xiaomi has also opened its second store at SM Megamall and launched the Redmi 5A and 5 Plus.
