Samsung has launched 3 tablets for your video binging and productivity needs: the Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen (8-inch screen; P15,990), the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (10-inch screen, Dolby 3D Sound; P16,990), and Galaxy Tab S5e (10.5-inch Amoled display, side fingerprint sensor; P27,990). The launch, held last June 6, was in partnership with Netflix. During the event, attending media were able to watch Netflix content on demo Samsung tablet units. The Galaxy Tab A with S Pen combines a compact tablet (it fits in a small bag and is about the size of a standard ring-bound notebook) and an embedded stylus for taking notes, sketching, mapping out plans, and drawing where your imagination takes you. With a long-lasting 4,200mAh battery, you’ll have long marathons on Netflix and long hours or getting work done (or reading, or social media, or diving into your emails).
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is the big tablet for immersive viewing and reading pleasure – the vibrant 10.1-inch full HD screen means no having to squint or pull up the display close to you (as you do with some smarpthones). Throw in Dolby Atmos sound and you’ll be losing yourself in your favorite series, movies, and music. Its 6,150mAh battery means you’ll get a lot done before recharging.
The Galaxy Tab S5e has a vivid 10.5-inch sAMOLED display that gives you stunning colors, high contrast, and optimal brightness. Pair that with Quad Speaker system sound by the AKG and Dolby Atmos’ three-dimensional surround, and you’ll have the immersive viewing you’ve always wanted in a tablet of this size. Its 7,040mAh battery means you’re getting around 14 hours of viewing pleasure with scrambling for the charger to continue watching your Netflix faves. For security, the Tab S5e has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, right on the power button, and has Face Recognition. It is also the slimmest, lightest, and most durable of the three Galaxy Tablets – with a 5.5mm sleek metal body weighing only 400g.
