The water and dust-resistant Samsung Galaxy A8 (P26,990) and A8+ (P32,990) are the company’s first midrange smartphones to follow the tall aspect ratio (18:9:5) and dual selfie camera trend. Despite the midrange tag (neither have flagship-level processors), everything about the 2018 A Series looks and feels premium. The A8 and A8+ were launched last January 18, 2018 in Makati City, where Yassi Pressman was announced as the brand’s new ambassador. Both models will be available starting January 27, 2018. Every purchase of either model comes with a FREE 5,000mAh Capdase Battery Pack worth PHP 1,199. See full specs below, where differences between the two are highlighted.
