The realme 3 is a wake up call to budget smartphone makers (and a “This is it!” to phone buyers) – it shows us that a smartphone aimed at user satisfaction (in build, design, camera and gaming performance, battery life) can be offered at a staggeringly low price without a budget-therefore-subpar expectation.
Starting at PHP6,990, the realme 3 (6.22-inch HD dewdrop display, 3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, 13MP+2MP rear cameras, 13MP selfie, triple slot tray, 4,230mAh battery) offers midrange specs, a comfortable tactile feel, a durable body, great camera performance, all for a budget price.
It comes in 3 variants:
- a Shopee exclusive (3GB RAM+32GB storage, PHP6,990) which voucher users (Code: SHPXREALME3) can get for only PHP6,290 during March 25 12AM Shopee flash sale;
- and two “offline” variants (3GB RAM+64GB storage = PHP7,990; 4GB RAM+64GB storage = PHP9,990) is available at retail stores starting October 6. Pre-order buyers of the offline models (from March 20 to April 5) get freebies worth P1,299 and can claim their purchase on April 6 (4GB RAM+64GB) and April 13 (3GB RAM+64GB).
The realme 3 will also be available via Home Credit. Two realme 3 cases are also available (see below): Diamond Blue (PHP499) and Grey (PHP399).
