[27 October 2022] As of 11am, Philippine Standard Time, PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have started preparing mission-critical manpower and equipment as #PaengPH traverses the eastern part of Luzon. The Group also continues to monitor the route of tropical depression #PaengPH.
Weather bureau PAGASA has forecasted #PaengPH to move west northwestward over the Philippine Sea which may affect Eastern Visayas and some parts of South Luzon.
PLDT and Smart are in close coordination with their response teams that have been alerted for deployment should there be any service disruption due to power outage in affected areas along #PaengPH routes.
We urge everyone to take necessary precautions and heed the alerts and warnings of local governments and disaster response authorities.
