Manila, Philippines — Panublix, a Filipino startup based in Iloilo, Philippines, is a sourcing platform connecting creatives with sustainable tropical textiles and artisan crafts. Panublix was one of the recipients of the Xendit Startup Accelerator Program, acquiring free Fee waivers of $10,000 (or over P520,000) for two years. The program also provides entrepreneurs with access to learning partners and additional resources.
The Startup Accelerator Program paved the way for Panublix to let more customers and partners experience seamless digital transactions via their own website. Because of the integration, Panublix is able to receive and accept payments via Credit/Debit cards, leading e-Wallets, including GCash, GrabPay, and PayMaya, Direct Debit via BPI and UnionBank. Through Xendit, Panublix can now also cater to over-the-counter transactions through retail outlets, including 7-Eleven and Cebuana Lhuillier.
“The Xendit Startup Accelerator Program was the driving force for our business to rise above a challenging time for entrepreneurs. It reminded us of our purpose and how, just like Xendit, Panublix, can pave the way for artisans to turn their passions into sources of livelihood. We are grateful for the privilege as we’ve experienced a significant rise in transactions since the integration. We call on our fellow Pinoy SMEs to participate in initiatives such as the Xendit Startup Accelerator Program and opportunities to reach more customers”, shared by Noreen Bautista, Co-Founder, Panublix.
Xendit launched the Startup Accelerator Program for SMEs like Panublix; businesses that are fueled by passion and purpose to inspire fellow Filipino entrepreneurs and to serve the community. “More than our organization’s long-term goal to make Digital Transformation a reality, we, at Xendit, are also motivated by how we can help empower more SMEs by giving them access to the right resources to jumpstart their success,” said Yang Yang Zhang, Managing Director, Xendit Philippines.
As a business dedicated to connecting artisans to global markets, Panublix will be able to digitally empower more than 100 rural artisans with the help of the Xendit Startup Accelerator Program. This will be done through the Panublix Weaving Enterprise Digital Enabler (PWEDE) program, which
enables local textile makers to become competitive digital enterprises on the Panublix sourcing platform.
