For the next two weeks, they’ll also be host to world-class graphics virtualisation technology, on show from NVIDIA and VMware.

The goal of these events is simple: bring together the world’s experts, wherever they may be, in virtualisation, cloud computing and end-user computing; then, set them loose in sessions and labs where conference attendees can immerse themselves in the latest IT innovations.
We’re doing our part. We’ll be demonstrating the most graphics-intense applications — such as geographical information systems (GIS), AutoCAD, Teamcenter, WebGL, and HTML5 — all running on a virtualised GPU, without compromised performance.
Plus, conference attendees will get the first look at a technology preview of VMware vSphere Hypervisor running NVIDIA GRID vGPU.
NVIDIA GRID vGPU technology allows multiple virtual machines to share the power of a single GPU to deliver rich graphics experiences with professional 2D and 3D applications.
At this year’s VMworld conferences in the US and Europe, customers signed up by the dozens to participate in our early access programme. Among them: European aircraft-manufacturing giant Airbus, healthcare provider MetroHealth, and global construction and engineering firm CH2MHILL.
