National Commission for Culture and the Arts Chair Virgilio S. Almario and consultant Noel de Guia pose with the Anvil trophy received from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines for the KulToura app, a mobile travel guide to the Philippines. KulToura is a collaboration by the NCCA, the Department of Tourism, Smart Communications and InnoPub Media.
A handy resource for both tourists and students, the KulToura app features information on heritage sites, historic schools and churches, nature parks, popular attractions, famous landmarks and other must-see places in various parts of the country. It also contains colorful details of the history of selected cities and provinces, including their famous personalities, delicacies and other interesting trivia.
The KulToura app is part of a nationwide digital tourism program that harnesses technology to deliver cultural, historical and travel information to mobile users. It is available as a free download for Android and iOS devices.
