Following Kaspersky Lab’s renewal of its sponsorship of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One racing team last year, the global cybersecurity company is taking up its alliance with the leading luxury car manufacturer to the next level as it launches its online quiz dubbed, “Secure your Ferrari Experience.”
Participants from each of the five Southeast Asian (SEA) countries who can ace the Kaspersky Lab challenge in the shortest time possible will have the chance to watch one of the most anticipated races in the 2016 Formula One world championship season.
Five lucky winners from the region (one per country) will each win an all-expense paid trip for two to Singapore to watch the F1 Grand Prix on September 18, 2016.
The contest covers the five countries in SEA including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The winners will be provided with three-day hotel accommodations and three-day paddock tickets for the ultimate race experience with seats closest to the pit lane with the best viewing position where they can watch the F1 race unfold with all the drama, excitement and action.
“The ‘Secure your Ferrari Experience Competition’ is our way of bringing our partnership with Ferrari to the next level of engagement. Ferrari has been one of Kaspersky Lab’s long-time partners and as we look forward to more successful years together, we want to give our lucky customers in the region their once-in-a-lifetime experience of watching the Ferraris at the Singapore Grand Prix race live and up close!” said Jimmy Fong, Channel Sales Director, Kaspersky Lab Southeast Asia.
Kaspersky Lab first partnered with Scuderia Ferrari back in 2010, and the partnership has continued to blossom. Since the 2012 F1 racing season, the Kaspersky Lab logo has been prominently featured on the car nose cones and sides, and on the drivers’ overalls and team uniforms.
Apart from the sponsorship of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team, Kaspersky Lab has also developed Kaspersky Motorsport, a website dedicated to updates and reports on the Scuderia Ferrari team in the most challenging race championships worldwide, with the help of Ferrari.
From its iconic Maranello factory complex, all the way to the chequered flag, Ferrari’s IT systems have been protected by bespoke Kaspersky Lab security solutions since 2013.
“This contest is one of the largest activities of Kaspersky Lab in Southeast Asia this year. We expect more promos and events for the region this 2016 but for now, we encourage our loyal customers to join Secure your Ferrari Experience Competition and help us cheer for the Formula One team and the Ferrari spirit in the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix,” said King Xian Ying, Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia, Kaspersky Lab.
