The royal features
Huawei Y5 is the company’s latest stylish, power-packed yet price competitive offering that sports a sleek and stylish design. The screen size is best for one hand handle at 4.5 inches with FWVGA resolution and high screen ratio of 16:9.
On the imaging front, it structures an 8 megapixel rear camera with DUAL LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. The Dual LED flash enhances low light photography conditions and helps the camera to capture fine details. The camera also brings in Huawei smartphones signature camera application like the panoramic selfie and ultra snap shot, an innovative feature is quickly activated by double-pressing the lower volume button.
Its 1GB RAM satisfies the daily multimedia requirements and the quad-core chipset easily balances the workload. It runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) with Emotion UI 3.0 on top and the system offers a more intuitive, simple, clear and stylish design. On the battery side, it has a 1730mAh battery with power saving technology. Given the phone’s configuration, the battery is expected to deliver up to 2 days of battery-life with moderate use.

Alongside Y5, Huawei also launched Y3 – a slightly toned down version that has a 4.0-inch LCD display screen coated with scratch-resistant glass, 512MB RAM, a 5MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera. This device too will run Emotion UI based on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
