Among the products’ key features are fast Dual-Band Wireless Speeds, with three-stream 802.11ac wireless speeds up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and three-stream 802.11n wireless speeds up to 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band to support faster file transfers and smoother video streaming. Fast Roaming, meanwhile, ensures constant connectivity to the network for mobile devices moving throughout the premises. These Wireless AC Access Points also support Separate Mode Configurations on each frequency band, such as access point, client bridge or WDS to support the unique requirements of the deployment and all are compliant with IEEE802.3at Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) for versatile deployment.
Both EWS360AP and EWS860AP 802.11AC Dual Band access points are newly launched wireless AC devices to compliment the EnGenius Wireless Management Solution. The EWS360AP is suitable in indoor environments that require intensive-bandwidth application and multiple devices such as conference room, stadium and high-density indoor environment while the EWS860AP is the ruggedized and yet manageable outdoor access point. Both are supported by EnGenius’ wireless controller which provides all-in-one wired and wireless network management including fully-managed L2 switching capabilities and priority based configuration.
The EnGenius Wireless Management Solution also comes with free utility to centrally monitor wireless networks deployed at multiple locations through an easy-to-navigate, browser-based Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The PoE-capable ENH1750EXT is housed in an IP68-rated casing specifically designed to withstand rain, moisture and other harsh environmental conditions. It uses an external MIMO antenna array comprised of three detachable 5 dBi high-gain antennas for the 2.4GHz radio and three detachable 7dBi high-gain antennas for the 5 GHz radio to provide long-range connectivity. It is an ideal for WISP as premium base station and backhaul Solution.
Both products support enterprise-class features such as Band Steering, Fast Roaming and Fast Handover to relieve network congestion and maintain optimal data traffic speed. Free EnGenius EZ Controller Management Software for configuration and remote upgrade is also supported for both models.
“The Wireless AC access points introduce a new level of performance and capacity to our growing line of long-range wireless networking products, enabling businesses to meet existing and anticipated network demands to support bandwidth-thirsty applications from an increasing number of users,” explains Lawrence Lim, Regional General Manager at EnGenius.
“Whether deployed as a complete solution with our Gigabit PoE+ Switches or simply adding them to an existing network infrastructure, the new AC access points deliver both speed and long range to provide reliable connectivity for client devices throughout the premises and optimize the performance of applications such as video streaming, VoIP and large file transfers.”
