New partnership brings the industry-leading data streaming platform to more countries with Alibaba Cloud
Manila, Philippines 16 October 2023: Confluent, Inc. (NASDAQ: CFLT), the data streaming pioneer, and Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, today announced adeepenedstrategicmulti-year partnership that expands the breadth and scope of solutions available to customers in Asia. The strengthened partnership will expand from mainland China to more markets in the region including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The Confluent Data Streaming Service on Alibaba Cloud will be available for Alibaba Cloud customers in the aforementioned new markets by the end of this year.

Under the expanded scope of collaboration, organizations in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand will have access to Confluent’s data streaming platform on Alibaba Cloud. And with the deepened partnership, customers can benefit from a robust and resilient data streaming service. The solution, based on the distributed data streaming technology Apache Kafka, enables customers with more powerful and efficient data processing capabilities, including enhanced elastic computing and storage functions, and dedicated customer support and technical consultation. Customers can enjoy all the enterprise-grade features of Kafka without the cumbersome management and monitoring work, and process data streams with enterprise-grade security. Confluent’s Data Streaming Platform has been used for improved business operation efficiency among a wide range of customers across numerous industries, including financial services, omnichannel retail, automobile, and gaming.
