Brother Philippines, a leading provider of home and business IT peripherals here in the Philippines, remains true to its “At Your Side” mantra as it continues to support The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 all throughout its run.
Brother serves as the tilt’s “Official Multi-function Printer” and sponsor of a Php1 million business package for this season’s The Voice of the Philippines!
As the official multi-function printer, Brother helps the program in printing and scanning lyric sheets, scripts and program guide, among other printing requirements.
Eyes on the prize
The business package worth Php 1 million from Brother International Philippines Corporation (Brother Philippines) will be on top of the Php 2 million cash prize, a house and lot, a musical instrument package, an Asian tour and shopping spree, a car, and a recording contract that the grand winner will bring home.
The Voice of the Philippines finalists expressed excitement over winning the Brother business package as it will give them an opportunity to have a business of their own, and subsequently have an additional source of income for their and their family’s needs. A trusted home and business technology innovator, Brother Philippines’ wide array of products help aspiring entrepreneurs establish innovative and lucrative businesses.
For Leah Patricio, the Brother business package will be of big help for her family to have a sustainable livelihood. “It will introduce us to entrepreneurship which will provide me with an alternative livelihood outside of my singing,” she said.
Alisah Bonaobra said that her family will definitely benefit from the Brother business package.
Bonaobra said, “Sobrang malaki po ang maitutulong nito sa amin lalo na po ngayon na pahirapan na po ang pagtitinda sa bangketa. Gusto naman po naming maranasan ang magkaroon ng permanenteng negosyo (The Brother business package will be a big help for us, especially now that we are having a hard time selling stuff. It would be good to have a permanent business).”
Farmer-Singer Rence Lee Rapanot said that the computer package is a perfect business for a computer technician like him: “Napakalaking maitutulong sa akin ng Brother business dahil isa din akong computer technician sa ngayon at konektado ito sa printing services (The Brother business will be a big help to me because I am a computer technician, and this is somewhat connected to printing services).
Rapanot also shared that in the computer and printing shop where he works, they have four printers, all of which are Brother, which he finds user-friendly, very easy to use and print very fast.
Jason Dy shared the same excitement.
Dy said, “The Brother business package would definitely help me and my family in the long run and would bring stability into our lives. It’s not only important to win a cash prize but also a great business package that is sustainable and would bring a stable income.”
More than the prizes, the artists will also be bringing home the experience, the training and the friendships they have built with their coaches and fellow participants.
At your side
When asked why they chose the competition as a sponsorship platform, Brother Philippines President Glenn Hocson said that they believe in the Filipino talent and creativity; and that Brother is always at the Filipinos’ side to uplift their abilities. Likewise, the company’s products have been instrumental in bringing out these traits amongst Filipinos.
“Our commonality with The Voice of the Philippines lies in our serving as a platform or a tool for launching the creativity and the artistry of Filipinos. And in the victory of The Voice of the Philippines artists, we want to show that at Brother we will definitely be at their side in every step of the way as they manage their new business,” he said.
