Leading digital solutions platform Globe sealed its dominance of the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) performance index of subscription-based streaming service Netflix in the Philippines in 2022, holding the top position until December and proving yet again that it is the best choice for streaming.
The Netflix ISP Speed Index is used to evaluate the performance of a specific internet service provider (ISP). Speed is crucial for streaming on Netflix as it ensures videos load rapidly with minimal delays. Otherwise, viewers may encounter issues such as buffering and pixelation while streaming content.
Globe at Home maintained its position as the top performer on the Netflix ISP Speed index for 12 consecutive months last year, with a score of 3.6 Mbps in December. This solidifies the company’s reputation as a provider of a #1stWorldNetwork experience for Filipinos.
The ranking means Globe At Home has been providing better picture quality, quicker start times, and fewer interruptions to Netflix subscribers.
The year before, it dominated the Netflix ISP Speed Index for 10 out of the 12 months, taking the solo lead for two months from February to November.
“We are proud to have further cemented our standing in the Netflix ISP Speed Index in 2022. It further shows our commitment to providing fast and reliable connectivity to our customers, which is crucial in providing world-class entertainment and uplifting the digital lifestyle of Filipinos. We are glad to be the provider of choice for Filipinos and will continue to ensure that we maintain this level of performance,” said Globe At Home Brand Management Head, Raymond Policarpio.
“Topping Netflix ISP Speed Index anew is proof of our commitment to providing the best internet services to our customers,” he said.
